It can be used to kill house and garden ants in enclosed spaces and on terraces. Before placing the baits, remove all food from the surrounding areas that could serve as an alternative food source for the ants. Do not apply to an area that has recently been treated with another insecticide. Do not use other insecticides at the same time as applying the gel, as these may repel the ants from the gel. It is recommended to wash your hands before using the baits to avoid contaminating the station with unpleasant odors (e.g. tobacco odor). Do not apply to surfaces where the temperature may exceed 50 C, as this may cause the gel to liquefy and lose its effectiveness. Do not expose the gel to direct sunlight or heat sources (e.g. radiators, stoves, ovens, smokers, extractor hoods, heat lamps, dishwashers, and hot water pipes). Dosage: 0.3-0.6 g/m2, i.e. 2-3 bait stations/25 m2. In case of a larger infestation, it is recommended to use several bait stations simultaneously. If the baits are used up but the presence of ants is still evident, repeat the application once. If you find that the ants do not visit the placed baits, move them to another location. The majority of ants that consume the baits die within 14 days, but it takes approx. 12 weeks to achieve ant-free status. PROTECT ant-killing bait also contains an insect growth inhibitor that does not have an immediate killing effect, but prevents queens from laying eggs and disrupts the development of larvae, so the anthill dies out. The treatment can be repeated 3 months after the infestation has ceased. Use the product a maximum of 8 times per year. Avoid any prolonged and exclusive use exceeding the recommended duration and frequency of use. If long-term use of the insecticide is essential, use it alternately with insecticides with other active ingredients. Spilled gel can be removed from surfaces with warm water and detergent. After treatment, remove the bait station. Wipe up any spilled product with a paper towel. Dispose of used paper towels in the municipal waste.
