With a range of OSRAM starter cables, motorcycle, car, commercial vehicle and truck drivers now have a quick and easy solution to rapidly transfer the battery power between a donor and a receiver vehicle and thus become ready to drive again.
The OSRAM BATTERYstart STARTER CABLE 150A is a high-quality starter cable designed for professional and private use. The cables are made of copper coated aluminum which reduces the resistance of the cable and allows a constant and effective transmission of the charge. The starter cable has a length of 2.5 meters with a cross-sectional area of 6mm². Thanks to the length and the cross-sectional area, it is possible to start vehicles with petrol engines with up to 1.6 liters of displacement, as a peak current strength of up to 150A can be achieved, at the same time a continuous current strength of 75 amps is given. It is suitable for voltages of 6V and 12V. To prevent high wear and tear, the OSRAM BATTERYstart STARTER CABLE 150A is sheathed in flexible yet durable PVC, and the insulated terminals provide additional safety and durability. The different colors of the cables and the handles on the terminals reduce the risk of mixing up the positive and negative terminals and thus the risk of incorrect connection to the battery. The storage bag included in the scope of delivery allows the cables to be stored tidy and, in a space-saving manner. Conveniently, the operating instructions are also attached to the back of the storage bag and are thus quickly at hand. OSRAM offers a 2-year guarantee on this product.
